Why not just lock up all those little shacks and tell tham to go home?

What do they do if they tell a bunch of guys that they can't cross the
border, and they just tell the so-called "guard" to go fsck themselves?
Do they hold their breath until they turn purple?

Or maybe yell at the illegal crosser in a stern voice?

I've been across that border a jillion times, and I swear, it never
occurred to me that the Canuck "guards" were unarmed! That's too funny!

appearently they will soon. The new federales are saying that it was a
bit embarrasing the other day and they had already promised to put guns

I can see the headlines. "Canadian border gays^H^H^Hguards beat man for
laughing at them" "Canadian border guard has baton surgically removed from
anus" "Armed immigrant forces Canadian border guard to eat own baton"
"Canadian border guard fired for playing with his 'baton' on duty" and
finally: "Canuck border guard squeals like a girl and runs after mean
tourist laughs threateningly at him"

Oh, he11, I just better give up and forget about ever crossing that border
again. They are never going to let anybody cross that is laughing so hard
he peed hisself when they ask if he has any guns.

Nope, they just call down to the nice men with the automatic weaponry
further down the road.

Look carefully next time you cross the border. You'll see there's always a
couple of cars parked near the exit from the border stations.

Then there's the signs at the midwest crossings:

"Please proceed to the next town and check in with US customs".
