unable to start FTP WWW and SMTP services

When trying to start the FTP WWW and SMTP services I get
an Object already exists error. Since I don't work with
IIS much I'm stuck.help!

Can you give us the "exact" error message? What does the
Event Viewer say?

That is what is so strange to me there are no error
messages in the events viewer. I just get a error message
on the screen when I try starting the services. "error
214873487 object already exists"

Post the full text of the error. How are you trying to start the
services? What version of operating system and IIS?

When did the problem start?

Do you have a backup of your metabase?

Can you try to enumerate the metabase?

What does that produce?
