I hope this is the appropriate place for this question.

I would like to use Server 2003 Web Edition to host some
websites. One thing I noticed in the server comparision web page:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/evaluation/features/comparefeatures.mspx

In the web and application services section it indicates that .Net Framework
version 2.0 is not supported. I assume that this means that ASP.Net 2.0 is
also not supported. Does anyone know whether both of these things are true
or fales. Or, is there a download to make Web Edition capable of running
version
2.0?

Thanks,
Todd

I beleive the term they are using is "Feature not included" not "feature not
supported".

You just need to install .NET Framework 2.0 and you will have ASP.NET V2
application support.

Thank you for thing info. That makes sense. I was having a hard time
believing that server 2003 web edition wouldn't support Microsoft's latest
web application technology

Thanks again,
Todd
