I have 2 servers outside the firewall. They will be coming into a DMZ
shortly but in the meantime I need some sort of protection on them. One is
W2K advanced server with IIS only and the other is W2K server with IIS and
FTP. can (will) anyone make any recomendations toward securing these
servers and what type of firewall/intrusion detection system works well. I
would appreciate knowing which ones don't work so well too.

Thanks
Byron

Check out Smoothwall Express

I set one up a couple weeks ago with a previously scrapped PC. (Thus making
the entire thing free)
