iis manager classfactory cannot supply requested class

iis manager 6 on xp machine connecting to iis 6 on remote 2003 box. I can
log in fine when I click on web sites or application pools I get class
factory cannot supply requested class I have reinstalled iis6 manager,
framework 2.0 and the sdk re registered with aspnet_regiis -i. very
frustrated at this point and just the beginning of this project.

WinXP/IIS5.1 does not have all the COM interfaces needed to communicate with
all features of Win2003/IIS6.

version i am running is xp pro 2002 service pack 2. It still maybe I am
missing something. Is there a package that I can download to take care of
the deficencies?

I tried that several times with no sucess. It wouldn't unpack the files even
when they where present and I havent been able to locate the original
installation disks.

what do you mean unpack? just go to add/remove windows component in your xp
and install it.
no iis component ?
