We have installed SUS on Windows 2000 server and SUS
requires IIS. The server is working but we are not seeing
any event logs in the %WinDir%\System32\LogFiles folder.
The server is configured to write a log every hour.

Any idea why the logs are not being created?

Thanks,
Morgan

Did you check the permissions and IIS setup (so the directory you're looking
in is where it's actually logging to)?

Morgan,

Check where the site is configured to write its logs, then check that
there is sufficient free disk space and that the System account has
appropriate NTFS permissions to that directory.

If you're sure all is correct then of course it could always be this :

IIS Log File Is Not Created When There Is No Activity on a Web Site
