Hi,

I'm running XPPRO & removed SP2 to allow easy installation of IIS 5.1

The first time I did this (before SP2 was installed) I had no problems. It
installed easily.

This time it keeps asking me to:

'Ensure the disk labelled XP service pack 1 CD is in the drive or provided
at the location specified...'

I can't seem to find the files it's asking of me. I tried to skip the files
but when I got to 25, I thought otherwise. Furthermore, it doesn't let you
quit. You have to pull the plug or just keep hitting cancel indefinitely.
scary.

How can I install IIS. Should it be this difficult?

Hope someone can shed some light

Thanks in advance

Ant

Simple solution: Put the Services Pack 1 CD in the drive.

Less simple: Download the SP1 installation file, expand it and point
your install there when it asks.
