"Windows XP Home Edition does not include Internet Information Server (IIS),
and IIS cannot run on this version of Windows. To run a personal Web server,
you must use WIndows XP Professional as your operating system."

Hi,

No, IIS cannot be installed on Windows XP Home. You can run other webserver
software like apache, or if you are working with asp.net development, web
matrix should work fine. You can also upgrade to Windows XP Pro.
