I used to be able to get frontpage to connect to my Small Business Server
2003 and publish web site changes over the internet. Now It no longer
prompts me for my username and password and when I tell it to get the
ceritficate it just hangs up.

I reran the internet connection wizard and told the server to republish a
new certificate but I think there is sonething else wrong. The website is
fully functional and working but I cannot use Frontpage over the internet to
connect and publish to it now. Does anyone have any idea what it is I should
check.

Try:
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

Please clarify the authentication protocol you use to authenticate-to and
publish to the server. It is not clear to me where certificates are coming
into the picture, but I don't know how you've set the authentication
protocols on the server.

David thanks, I actually started there and they directed me to this IIS
community.

I can access the server via terminal server using the RDP protocol.
Frontpage uses port 80 I think to get just tcp. The certificate when you
tell it to come over ssl is coming from the SBS server. It accepts the
certificate and understand that it comes from the SBS server but it doen not
connect. now.
