The solution to this is to use MMC snap-in for IIS to
configure the web site
and edit the 'default web site' properties. The execute
permissions can be
found under the 'Home Directory' tab where you can
select 'Scipts only' as
this is sufficient for the introduction page in IIS.

How do I Get to the Home Directory; i was exploring in
the default web site that came with II2 but was unable to
find any ideas thanx :O)

The home directory is wherever you configure it on that same tab.
