After setting up my SBS 2003 server, I am able to access
my internal website 'http://companyweb' from all Windows
XP workstations, but not from Windows 98 (IE6.0)
workstations. Receive 'Page cannot be displayed'. Help.

From my Win98 (IE6.0) workstations I can access
the 'http://servername' page (which was self configured on
SBS Server 2003) except the link 'My Company's Internal
Web Site). Windows XP workstations are OK.

Yes, but we need the detailed error message. The FAQ links explains how to
get that.

Is your server a DNS server? Otherwise, that won't work. You need to use
the IP for your DNS server.

Sounds like a networking issue on the W98 box then, not related to IIS.

From the Win98 machine, if you enter
http://<internal_IP_address_of_SBS_SERVER>

What happens?

SBS binds the companyweb to the internal IP (if you have >1 network card),
and it requires a host-header (which you need it as a DNS server to
resolve). I've found that at times, http://servername doesn't work for me
to access the website, but the internal IP always does. I haven't figured
out exactly what's wrong with the DNS setting yet; it's been auto-correcting
for me after a few minutes.

I was getting exactly the same error...I could view the //companyweb from the server, but not from any clients...my problem seems to have been related to the Windows Time Service. The server was set to a US time zone and the client to the UK...the clocks were in-sync, but in different time zones. When I change the server to the UK time zone, everything started working.

That sounds more like custom authentication failures to me. All of the
major authentication schemes use locale-independent time schemes, so
timezones should not matter.
