Hi,

my IIS (on XP Pro SP1 + security rollupfixes) has stopped serving anything except ASP pages, with no obvious error messages (HHTP or otherwise appearing).

So I removed ISS usign add/remove and then carried out a standard default install of IIS.

However the previous problems remain, namely that it will only serve ASP pages; html, images, pdf etc are not served. The web log shows that the get requests are completing with a 200 or 206 for images, yet nothing gets back to the browser.

Obviously, when I remove IIS, not all settings in the registry are being cleared, so I am hoping that someone may know of a location where I can determine what I should clean out before trying another re-install.

I have also tried finding a post with similar problems but no luck so far.

thanks for any help

Hello,

Do you have the latest version of ZoneAlarm installed? There seems to be a
problem with ZoneAlarm software that causes exactly this. Could this be the
problem?

Installing an earlier version of ZoneAlarm fixes the problem.
