changing my anonymous access user back to IUSR or let me debug

Hi

I have changed the anonymous access user under Directory Security to my user
account on my domain.
Now in Visual Studio, I can only debug when logged into my profile.
If i log in as the Local System Administrator, visual studio will not allow
me to debug.

How can i set the anonymous user back to IUSR_<machinename> - i don't know
the password.
Alternately, how can i allow all users to debug

Reset the password using the Computer Management MMC snapin.

Then, in the IIS Manager, manually set the password for the IUSR account.

I mean, is this account only used for IIS

Yes, this account is only used by IIS (by default). You are free to use it,
yourself, for other purposes but I can't see any reason why anyone would do
that.
