I have a new Win2k3 server running IIS6, latest MDAC, Latest JET SP and no
updates available at this time.

What is happening is every day I have 3-6 failures where i have to restart
the webservices to get the sites up.

I was hoping that someone has had this issue and knows the fix or where to
tell me how to read the IIS State log. I have also attacthed the log.

I think that you forgot to attach the log. Please do that, and i'm sure that
somebody can take a look at it.

Jason,

How many sites are running? Do you have a firewall installed? Even with all=
the MS patches if you don't have a firewall automated scripts will=
continuously poke into your server causing all sorts of havoc. Test your=
firewall with: www.grc.com Shields Up.

While you are experiencing the problem you could set the IIS service to=
restart automatically.

Hello Jason,
It appears that you are running into a known issue with running Jet on
Windows 2003. There is a hotfix that might resolve the issue you are
seeing. I would recommend that you call Microsoft and get a grace case
created to receive the hotfix for Q838306
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;838306). I have
compared the iisstate log file you sent to another case that was resolved
by this fix and the faulting stack is exactly the same. Alternatively, you
can get a paid case created, have a Webdata engineer review the dump file
and confirm the findings. If it turns out to be the same issue that I am
talking about, then the engineer will refund you for the case.

The faulting stack in your case is:
