To make a long story short, I had to do a system restore. Before, My PC was
connected directly to internet and I had IIS5.1 installed running my
personal website. After the system restore, I installed a Linksys Wi-Fi
router (home network) and now, my PC is connected directly to the router.

Now, Instead of having an IP adress I have a 192.168.1.100 internal address.
Since I don't want to make mistakes, I have just resintalled IIS5.1 without
doing anything else. The same for Frontpage 2003.

Can somebody tell me what will happen ? Do I have to do something special or
IIS will know what to do ? What IP will I use for URL redirection ? (If I
use the one given in the status window of the router, it opens the admin
window of the router).

Hello,

I assume that your router can do port forwarding, and that you are doing
your tests from outside your network (it depends on the settings of the
router if the external IP of the router will work from the inside of your
router).

What you need to do is forward all traffic on port 80 on the router's
external IP to the internal IP of the webserver. After you have done this,
all will work fine.

Install IIS. It will answer on whatever IP the system has. If you
want access through your router, you'll need to configure your router
for that, IIS doesn't have any router settings.
