I am new to IIS administration.

There are a number of IIS servers in our site. I would
like to know whether there is any easy way to find out the
version of IIS being installed from the MMC on my desk?

Thanks

Windows NT v4 = IIS v2, v3, or most likely, v4
Windows 2000 = IIS v5
WindowsXP Pro = IIS v5.1
Windows 2003 Server = IIS v6

There are scripts that you can use to go through your domain to work out the
OS for each machine -or- you can use Active Directory Users and Computers
(or similar) to get the OS for each machine.

Cheers
