Hi All,

This maybe more straight forward than it seems. However I'm new to this so bear with me.

I'm about to order a new server which will be placed in a DMZ.

I intend to run OWA on this server as a Front End to my internal Exchange 2003 Svr.

My question is this:

I will also need to eventually host our company web site. Can this be done on the same machine in the DMZ or would I require another server? Performance issues aside.

If I can host both together will I need to use separate ports for each i.e. 80 for http to the OWA and say 8080 for the company website?

Any advice appreciated

Rgs

Same machine works fine.

Separate IP's would be a far better option, since ports must be
specified and anyone going to www.company.com would automatically hit
port 80. They'd need to know to go to www.company.com:8080 to get to
your site, and my guess is that nobody will figure that out without
calling you and asking.

It should be possible, performance and security issues asside. You can use
hostheaders to make the difference between OWA and a regular website (e.g.
www.owa.randomcompagny.com and www.randomcompagny.com).
