[Urgent] SBS 2k3 missing Default Web Site

Does anybody know how to re-create the Default Web Site, I've found articles
on how to reset the default virtual directories for OWA but nothing else. Can
anyone say "hosed" HELP. Not sure what happen, OWA stopped working, went to
IIS to have a look and the site was gone, files are still in the wwwroot.
Logs all clean and blue until it started to logging these after a re-boot:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: W3SVC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1043
Date: 2/18/2006
Time: 8:22:08 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SRV
Description: The virtual site '1' has been invalidated and will be ignored
because valid site bindings could not be constructed, or no site bindings
exist.
I really need to get the site backup for the client, does anyone know if
there is a way to restore that site without having to re-install?????????

You could uninstall/reinstall IIS (but that would require you to recreate
the Exchange website).

Alternatively, use a tool like Metabase Explorer to examine the metabase. It
looks like there's still a website in there with the identifier "1". You may
just need to repair the bindings for that site (the bindings are the IP
Address+Port+Host Header combinations that the site listens on). Metabase
Explorer is available in the IIS6.0 Resouce Kit tools you cna download from
the Microsoft website.

Alternatively, by default, IIS makes a backup of the metabase each time you
make a change. YOu can perform a restore operation via the IIS Manager MMC
snapin. Perhaps you may be able to restore to a previous version of the
metabase before the problem manifested itself.

Does the client have any backups?

Lastly, when did the problem start happening, and what changed prior to the
problem occuring?
