Our users are having problems uploading files larger than
4mb to our server after installing the Security Update
for Internet Explorer 832894. We are using AspUpload. The
transfer rate drops down to 3% (10 Mb/s) after installing
the patch resulting in a timeout error. The transfer rate
before installing the patch was 60-70%

We are using Windows 2000 server (IIS5). We tried to
upload large files with IE patched with 832894 on 3
different servers with the same results, to rule out that
this was a server issue. Does anyone know how to fix
this problem without uninstalling the patch? I haven't
seen any patch from Microsoft that fixes this problem
although they have released 831167 that fixes another
problem with the patch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Same thing here. Uploads work fine with Netscape (4.8 & 7.1), Opera, and IE without patch 832894. Uploads also work fine with those browsers on my NT4.0 sp6a boxes, with or without the patch. I even tried a couple of different upload managers like ASPUpload to make sure that that was not the problem

Also, the problem only occurs when I use SSL. I used SSL Diagnostics and everything looked good

I really want to upgrade my production servers from NT to 2000 (I've already purchased the licenses), but until this issue is sorted out I can't.
