OK let's try this next. Go to Start | Settings | Network and Dial-up =
Connections | Advanced | Advanced Settings... What do you have for =
Bindings for Local Area Connection (which should appear first in the top =
box)? In the bottom box with Local Area Connection selected in top box, =
do you have File and Printer Sharing first and Client for Microsoft =
Networks under that? And under each of them do you have Internet =
Protocol (TCP/IP) and then NetBEUI Protocol following? What do you have =
in right-click Internet Explorer icon on desktop | Properties | =
Connection | for the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings?
