Hello

I am attempting to publish my website to my webserver located on my LAn,
without success. I am recieving an error that frontpage server extentions are
not installed, check your proxy settings, etc.

I have verified my FPSE are extended, configured properly as far as I can
see. This is a new server installation, running Server 2003, SP1.

I ran across an article that suggested I allow scripts and executables to
run, by going to the properties of my site, then the Home Directory tab. I
have done this, and now Frontpage 2003 sees that FPSE are installed, but I
still cannot post.

Now I run into an issue, saying that I couldn't upload files, as the website
"/" was marked executable.

This is a problem for me, as I plan to be hosting a photogallery.

Additionally, I am using Exchange Server 2003 sp1 on the server, and
publishing to the same directory the IIS components of Exchange are located.
I have done this in the past without incident on other servers.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or be able to at least point me in the
right direction? Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Tim

FPSE can be particular. I would try removing and re-installing on the site.
Also try running 'check and fix' on them after you install them.

Thanks for the suggestion, Steve.

I have tried recreating the web, and have also tried removing, and then
re-extending my current web, as you suggested. I have checked the Server
Health from the Site Administration. The same thing still happens.

Could you clarify on the 'check and fix'? where would I locate the
option/exe? I don't recall anything on this.

Thanks,

Tim
