Hi guys,

I'm trying to browse http://intranet.mydomain.ca/myfile.doc

If I enable my proxy it works, without it won't.
Shouldn't the proxy make it more secure? I need to be able
to access this file without the proxy.

Anyways does anyone knows if this is an IIS5.0 config, and
if so, how to fix that?

Thx

JF

It's not an IIS config. What do you mean by "enable my proxy "?

Make sure you are not setting caching to 0

I do not believe this is an IIS issue.

However, you can look in the IIS logs to see if any request actually reached
the IIS machine (when you have your proxy disabled in your browser)

That said, it would be helpful if you could post the full error messages etc
that you are receiving when you say "it does not work". That may give us a
clue as to why it's not working.

Cheers
Ken
