We are trying to download files from a system running Microsoft-IIS/6.0
using HTTP "GET" with the Inet ActiveX control.

The transfer if data appears to reset after an hour on different clients in
different cities using different transfer speeds.

Are there any server variables that set the transfer time for data transfer
with IIS? If so what are they and how are they changed?

Why does it take an hour to transfer files?

They are a few hundred megs each. I want to avoid ftp because I am unable
to create accounts or use anonymous ftp on this server so I have been just
using http "get" to download the files.

People on cable are able to download them because they take less than an
hour but those on ADSL cannot.
