There are too many people accessing the Web site at this time

Hi Guys;
I am getting this message "There are too many people accessing
the Web site at this time".

I am positive that there are only four universities accesssing my
Web Site at one time. I use two different criteria to insure this. Add and
subtract 1 to a database record and limit the number of users in a different
database.

IIS states that 10 users can use my site at one time, however the
maximum I have allowed in the past was five. This was when I was on 2000. I
have now lowered this number to four and only three users can be on at one
time.

Why does it not allow the 10 users any longer????

The limit is not 10 users, it is 10 connections. 1 user typically opens 2
connections but may open more.

It is better to run a website on a server os which does not impose this
limit.
