There is no default ftp root listed, only the "web sites" folder and the
default smtp virtual server. How can I get the ftp root to be listed?

Hello,

Is the FTP Service installed? Please take a look at Add/Remove Windows
Components, and verify that the FTP Service really is installed.

Here is what add/remove looks like:

Accessories & Utilities (checked)
Fax Services
Indexing Services
Intenet Explorer (checked)
IIS (checked)
Management & Monitoring Tools
Message Queuing
MSN Explorer (checked)
Networking Services (checked)
Other Network File & Print Services
Outlook Express (checked)
Update Root Certificates (checked)
Window Media Player (checked)
Windows Messenger (checked)

Is there something there that, if checked, would all of a sudden install the
ftp root?

Kristofer:

So when I do what you say, this comes up:

http://www.richertnet.com/temp/iis/service-pack1.jpg

So I put the service pack 1 cd in and I browse and it looks like it's
looking for this file, but won't find it:

http://www.richertnet.com/temp/iis/ftpsv251-dll.jpg

I have the service pack 1 files that I burnt to cd from the web. Is there
special cd I'm supposed to be putting in there?

Or can I find these files somewhere else?
