Slightly OT - thin client configuration

Hi. I know this is not directly IIS related but I though some folks here
might be able to help anyway.

We are deploying a browser based solution in to a factory environment for
use by manual workers. We want to minimize hardware costs; we just need a
system that comes with a screen and capable of running a browser, preferably
internet explorer.

Do such systems exist & does anyone have experience with them, and how do
they compare to a normal PC particularly as PCs seem to be pretty cheap
these days anyway?

Hello,

Thin client terminals exists, which only has the necessary hardware to
connect to a terminal server. They should be less expensive than a PC, but
it was some time ago i was into this, so i don't know how it looks like
today.

I would recommend you to post this to the
microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services newsgroup, they probably have
more experience with this.
