Hi,

I have got my web site all set up on SBS 2003 Std
edition with my T1 running.

For testing purposes, how come when I go to another
network and type my http://ip_address I can only see my
small business server welcome page?

Thanks for the response.....

Just got off the phone with senior level support at Dell

Their quote, best scenario, one wan ip per web site

Everything I have heard goes against this too.

The main argument here is, if you have a web site which is the
same ip (not virtual web) as another web site on the server,
what do you give your register service for an identifier to point to?????

Please help again if you don't mind.

As usual, the folks at Dell are wrong. :)

For your issue, if you have not added a web site you will get the
welcome page. You also get that if you add a site but don't provide
any means of distinguishing it from the default one, either separate
IP addresses, separate ports or host headers.

I would think a T1 would (or could) come with public IP addresses you
could use. But if you have a single IP, the most practical solution
is host headers:
