IIS Shows Address alrady in use error

I have win 2k ad server I was configuring IIS to make a web site I have
created a folder with html file inside it in c:\. The web site was named as
test. When I was going to brows it, it was showing the message address alrady
in use. I know that I am testing this site in stand alone pc what is the
problem ?

Hello,

You are not getting this error message when you try to start the website?
Because that makes more sense, and if you do get this message when you try
to start the website, it can be because something else is already using
the port you want IIS to use (probably port 80).

Can you please verify if you have something that is already using port 80?
