I have been trying to set up http streaming using windows media services,
while running IIS 6 simultanlsy on the same machine (server 2003).

I have installed 2 nic cards, each with a differant public ip address, one
assigned for the streaming services and the other for IIS to run on. I wish
to run a website and a ftp account from IIS.

I have read the following article, but on step 13, get into trouble as it
refers to nsunicast , which is not present with Server 2003.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/Netshow/deploy/wmsiis.mspx

I am presuming that the above article is still correct upto the point of the
regedit, but if i stop at this point, restart the server and try to enable
http streaming on the media services section, i get the error saying that
port 80 is in use.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

I am trying to do the same thing. Have you been able to find any docs on
this, or did you figure out how to get it working?

It's as if MS don't realise they've released W2K3 :-(
