Server Unexpectedly Closed the Connection

I'm running an IIS webserver under windows server 2003 (IIS 6.0). When I
publish to it from front page I keep getting this error after some files
publish:

"The Server Unexpectedly Closed the Connection" - the error shows up in
front page when I publish.

Can someone tell me how to stop this obnoxious behavior? The logs are
hieroglyphic to me and are of NO help.
