We have NLBS across (2) Win2k3 Servers and we are serving up a web
application via IIS and so far everything is working as it should. Our web
developers (.net) work on the application first on their workstations, then
copy to our test application server (single server), then after testing,
transfer to the production (NLBS) servers. We simply copy changed files from
server to server.

What I am wondering is when we transfer to the nlbs nodes, is there a
proper/preferred method to copy/synchronize the files? It is not much of a
big deal when working with 2 or 3 nodes, but what happens when you're dealing
with 8, 10, 16, or more nlbs nodes? Is there some software/method out there
that we could target the change file(s) then point them to the nlbs nodes to
transfer in one fell swoop? Anyone with web farms care to share their
experiences with replicating/sync'ing files?

Thanks!

Application Center 2000 does this, or you can use robocopy or other 3rd
party tools and schedule it for data transfer.
