Pop3svc

The POP3 Service could not start because the POP3
authentication method is invalid for this Windows
configuration.

I have no Idea who to fix this issue.

Can anyone help Please

Hi,

You must delete all domains to be able to change Authentication Method.

Please cross-post if it is really necessary. It is never necessary to
multi-post!

Tim: I believe this is on a Server 2003 installation using the built-in POP3 server. I thought you guys at Microsoft knew your products. ;)

I had this exact same problem and used Kristofer's hint and was able to resolve the problem. Sure, it's two years later, but it was still hopeful!
