I am having a problem setting up ODBC logging in IIS 6. I setup the DSN,
the database (no password) but when I try to login to it from the IIS server
I get an error in the log saying it was unable to login to the datasource.
What password if any should I be inputting?

How about posting the actual error?

IIS ODBC Logging failed to log data to data source LOGDSN.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Is this a SQL Server or Access you're logging to? And I assume the
ODBC connection checks out fine, correct? And most important, does
the database have a password?

It is an access database and no, there is no password. But IIS requires you
to input a password anyway.....so there is the problem...what password if
there is no password? Also, no real way of checking Access databases there
is no (test connection) like in SQL.

I solved my own problem by dumping access and using a real database. MySQL
works fine for me and the price is right. With the ODBC connector I have no
problem writing asp.net pages around it.
