I solved my own problem by dumping access and using a real database. MySQL
works fine for me and the price is right. With the ODBC connector I have no
problem writing asp.net pages around it.

: It is an access database and no, there is no password. But IIS requires
you
: to input a password anyway.....so there is the problem...what password if
: there is no password? Also, no real way of checking Access databases
there
: is no (test connection) like in SQL.
