Hello All,

Just a quick question on a server using IIS 6 what is the limit to the
number of domains hosted on an IP address? is there a suggested amount?

Thanks

IIS6 has no limit on the number of domains hostable on an IP address.

Practically speaking, the number depends on the requirements of the
application of each domain and whether the server has enough CPU,
Memory, IO Bandwidth, and whether the application is well-written
enough to run performantly.

Thus, the suggested number could be one huge application, or tens of
thousands of tiny applications. It all depends on the application.
