I would like to move my Verisign SSL certificate from my existing IIS
4.0 server to a new IIS 4.0 server and have a few questions.....

1. Do I just export the certificate from the existing IIS server and
import it on the new IIS server?

2. Do the NetBIOS names of the IIS servers need to be identical for
the certificate to work properly on the new IIS server? (i.e. The
current servername is LYNXPDC and I would like to name the new server
LYNXIIS)

If anyone can provide a step-by-step procedure or a link to one, it
would be greatly appreciated.....

Thanks in advance !!!

The answer to 1 depends on how you imported the certificate in the first
place - if you didn't check the private key to be exportable you will have
to import the key from the original source. If you did check it to be
exportable (somewhat of a security issue) you can just export it from the
existing box.
