I'm following a procedure written by someone else that indicates that I
should run IIS Lockdown on a Windows 2003 server running IIS. I am unable to
find a version of IIS Lockdown that indicates compatibility with IIS 6 or
Windows 2003. It is my understanding that IIS 6 is locked down by default,
is IIS lockdown still valid?

The server will be used to host Exchange 2003 Outlook Web Access.

Hello Joe,

Please take a look at following links.

IIS6 Installs in a Locked-Down Mode:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/IIS/6/all/techref/en-us/iisRG_SEC_2.mspx

Determining Whether to Run the IIS Lockdown Tool and UrlScan:

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Have a Great Day!!
