I seem to be having this issue when trying to download a pdf from a asp.net
web page over https:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812935#kb5

Is there anywhere I can download this fix (nearly a year old now?), I really
don't want to risk getting billed £100 contacting PSS...

There is no charge for hotfixes.

Call PSS, explain that you have having the symptoms in the KB article 812935
and they will arrange to get the hotfix to you. It's usually a pretty
painless proces.

I would imagine that this was bundled into XP SP2 (which updates IE6 SP1 to
IE6 "SP2") but you may need it for other platforms (eg Win2k, or if you have
WinXP boxes that are still on SP1). In any case, this appears to be an IE
issue, not an IIS issue.

Cheers
Ken

Yes, it is part (or actually, an even newer version of this file) of
Windows XP SP2.
