IIS Install

I have a Dell laptop with XP Pro and am trying to install the IIS Windows Component. Each time I try to install, it begins copying and then stops - requesting me to insert my XP disk to find the file "infocomm.dl_". After inserting my disk and directing the "Browse" to the i386 folder on the disk, it continually asks for retry. If I try to continue with the install (skip) the infocomm.dl_, it gives the same "Can Not Find" error for the next necessary file.

Can you copy the i386 folder to your hard disk and try again? If you can't
copy that folder to your hard disk, there may be issues with your CD, or
your CD-ROM drive.

Are you using the exact disk that was used to install windows on your laptop? The reason I ask, is that some OEMs will install the image on the laptop, and
send a different image with your laptop. If they are different (one already has sp1, and the other is the base CD), then you will not be able to add core
components.
