I am using IIS Version 5 on Windows 2000 Pro.
I am trying to start up a default web site.
Having re-installed IIS and starting Internet Services Manager .Under
my computer name I get :-
Default FTP
Default Web
Default SMTP
All three of these services are stopped. When I try to start any of
them I get
"Service did not respond to the start of control request in a timely
fashion "

Event viewer shows thelowing error message
Event ID 7023 The World Wide Web Publishing Servrice terminated with
the following error:
Not enough resources are available to complete this operation.

What steps do I need to take from here ?

I have been searching the net for some documentation, so far, I can't
find anything that deals with this particular issue. Any help would be
appreciated.

Regards

Vic

Well, your Win2K Pro could be corrupted. Reinstall it and try.
