I have a few web pages that I serve. My problem is that if I type
www.mypage.com I get a error page like this: But If I type
http:\\www.mypage.com it works fine. I have been to many web sites where I
do not have to type http:\\. What am I doing wrong?

The page you are looking for might have been removed or had its name
changed.

Please try the following:

a.. Open the s: home page, and then look for links to the
information you want.

b.. If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that
it is spelled correctly.

If you still cannot open the page, click the Internet Explorer
Search button to look for similar sites.

Sounds like a problem with the IE search feature - you'd probably get a
better answer in an IE group ...

It could be your DNS settings.
I have my dns A Names mysite.com
With a C Name of www.mysite.com / pop.mysite.com etc..
I'm not sure if this is your problem but it might be.
I had a similar problem when I 1st started hosting sites.
I think this is how I fixed it.
