Sorry I couldn't find my previous post.
But nope, my IIS still doesn't work properly. I can uninstall it, then
reinstall it, and IIS seems to work fine. But after a reboot, IIS fails to
start.
Previously my PC name was "dell" and was part of a domain. A couple of days
ago we had a server upgrade and all PCs had to unregister itself from the
domain, the reregister. I decided to change my computer name to "myname".
This was done inbetween diregisteration and registration on the domain. Now
my IIS doesn't like my computer name. I believe this is hardcoded somewhere
in the registry somewhere.
Please please can someone help to quickly fix this problem.
