Basically my server died and I reloaded a fresh OS install on this server.

I was able to recover the metabase.xml from the old hard drive. However when
I tried to restore from that .xml file, It says invalid signature.

All the newsgroup / forum post I've read says that message is caused by no
password being set on the .xml file.

Is there a way to fool the restore process into ignoring the password?

This would make my life so much easier as I have to restore about 130 sites.
