We are having an issue with the following error:
The user account 'username' cannot be added to the current virtual server
because it is in use by a Web on a different virtual server. User accounts
created by Microsoft SharePoint or FrontPage Server Extensions can only be
used by one virtual server at a time. Try to create a new account with a
different name.

It seems that the user wasn't deleted properly before the website was
removed. We've been able to fix this before, when we knew the website ID
that it was attached to. However, now we are unable to delete it. There is a
workaround: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=300838
I would prefer getting the entry out of there completely. Is there any way
to find out where this username is entered? It is no longer in the user
manager, and we could not see that it was attached to any existing websites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
-Ben

We're still having this issue. Has anyone else run into this? Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
-Ben
