Hi all,
This is probably not the newsgroup for it, but I have no
idea where to start. I'm looking for some forum
administration software to put a forum on my web site. Can
someone point me in the right direction.

TIA

Snitz is popular, or if you are willing to do Perl there are quite a
few options. Take a gander at aspin.com for other ASP forums, and do
a Google for "Forum ASP" or the like.
