Difference between using FTP software and Windows Explorer

I have an FTP site that I can access using WFTP_Pro or Cupertino, but can't
access it with Windows Explorer. I'm not sure what the issue is, when I use
IE, it prompts me for user name and password but doesn't let me access the
site. Even when I enter a valid user name and password (even administrator)
I get the password prompt again, as if I didn't enter anything valid.

Any help would be great.

Take a look at the ftp log file... and post the failed login attempts here.
