        • Will remapping .HTML to be processed as .SHTML cause problems? I have a website that has between 350-450 HTML and HTM pages on it. On August 30th, I'm supposed to update the site so that most (not all) of these pages use an SSI navigational menu. The change, though, needs to happen all at once; that is, I needed to copy the files over and have the new website working fairly instantly (corresponds with a catalog mailing). There wasn't a way to do that, because I'd have to manually redirect file1.html to file.shtml and repeat a zillion times...I'm on satellite inet - my server access is sloooooow. I ran across this: http://www.irishdeveloper.com/blog/servers/platforms/windows/iis/using-server-side-includes-in-html-with-iis/ which explains how to reconfigure IIS so that it processes .HTML files as .SHTML files. There are a few .html and .htm files that do NOT use this menu. Will it affect them in any way? And if it won't affect them, is it then safe to just turn that switch on NOW (make the server process HTML as SHTML) so that as files with includes are added, they will just work, rather than having to do it all at once? Thanks, Julie Siebel Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397139

        • Can not use Internet! Hi to everyone! This is my first post in this group. My problem is with a server 2003 R2. Three weeks ago it was working well. I mean, I can use the internet and keep the respective updates. I had to intall IIS 6.0 because we have some net applications that use in the intranet. From then I can not use the internet in this server. I did not receive any error. It only says that can not find the web site. I have not a clue about what is happening. Can anyone help me? • PDF file download error I have a set of PDF files in a subdirectory of a website. I am able to download some from the website, but not all. The permissions are all the same. It looks like problems start to appear when the file size exceeds 70 MB or so, but the download limit in the xml metabase is 500 MB. I'm using Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0 The error is that the page cannot be displayed. Suggestions? Thx -- Tim Meagher Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397134

        • Web sites no longer starting automatically Hi I'm running IIS7 on Vista Home Premium and currently have 12 development web sites set up using different bindings for each. The system works fine except that all of a sudden when the machine is switched on all the web sites are stopped and have to be manually started, where before they started automatically. All sites have "Start Automatically" set to "True" I've recently added 2 sites so I'm wondering if there is a maximum number of sites that can be running at any one time or if there is a setting that I've missed Thanks in advance Ken Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397133

        • Slow IIS6 when accessed remotely We are running a ASP .Net 2.0 application on a Windows 2003 SP2 Server. When using the application from the intranet, it becomes slower and slower after about an hour. Resetting the worker process solves the problem for one hour again. Normally a pages responds within 3 seconds max, it takes more than a minute at the end of the hour. The interresting thing is that I can logon to the server with remote desktop, call the same pages and it is fast, even if it is very slow over the internet. I would be grateful for any idea because this happens in a production environment with many users. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397132

        • Do Windows CE devices connecting to IIS 6.0 need an individual CAL ? I have a project where +/- 100 Windows CE 5.0 devices will connect to a IIS 6.0 (on Windows 2003 Server) Web Service, through a RAS connection. The server will have 100 virtual serial ports (every port will be configured as a RAS entry point), and every Windows CE 5.0 device will connect through RAS to access the Web Service. (the devices are not wi-fi, and we will use their serial cradle to connect to port servers) Do I have to purchase one CAL for every Windows CE 5.0 device ? Thanks a lot. Nicolas. • IIS installation on XP Pro freezes while configuring SMTP components I am trying to install the IIS component onto my new ThinkPad running Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. The installation gets hung up while it is configuring the SMTP components. It seems to stop running. My computer doesn't freeze, I can access other things, and in fact, end up accessing Task Manager to end the task. I tried uninstalling and while it froze numerous times while doing that, I finally was able to uninstall. In addition to uninstalling Then I tried installing again and the same thing. I took a quick look at the log file while I can't attach the file, I will paste in the last minute that it was running below. It seems to have finished installing, but then won't find http://localhost nor does the Internet Information Services component show up Administrative Tools. I see that this problem has come up for several people in the past, and I have tried some of various incarnations to some of these problems, including turing off the Firewall, deleting files, installing, uninstalling, etc. Has anyone figured this one out? Many thanks. • differential backup on win sm biz server 2003, i started a differential backup there are no options that i saw for configuring the backup other than picking differential the first time it ran, it backed up all the target files, about 10k / 9 gb i was expecting the log for the next backup to show something like 20 or 30 files backed up the ones that had changed since the full backup, however, all 10k / 9gb was on the report again and its that same thing everyday? how is the differential to be configured to get it to work as expected for a differential? should not the daily report (in my case) be giving a total of the files that had been backed up since the last full backup? t hanks bob Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397117

        • Accessing Webmail without using port No. extension Hi All, I've web server and mail server running on same Windows 2k3 + IIS 6 box. Mail server is Code Crafters Ability Mail Server. I can access mail server by using http://www.mydomain.com:1234 But I want to access mail server by just typing URL of domain without port extension E.g. http://webmail.mydomain.com I tried 2 solutions 1) Host header solution: I configured webmail.mydomain.com hos header and pointed port to 1234 - This obviously fails as I'm trying to use port 1234 which is being used by mail server 2) I configured webmail.mydomain.com as a separate website While configuring I pointed the home directory to a dummy empty folder and then I redirected the URL to http://www.mydomain.com:1234 Selected "redirection to another URL" Selected "exact URL" and "permanent redirection" - I ended up at same place where I started from. This solution redirects http://webmail.mydomain.com to http://www.mydomain.com:1234 Now I'm lost how do I make this work? My requirement is I don't want the port number, I want it to access on Port 80. Reason is I want to access webmail behind a proxy which blocks almost all ports except 80. I can't run mail server on port 80 as I run web server. Any help would be appreciated. I can offer pure British Beer ;) Cheers Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397114

        • IIS custom error list missing Hello IIS 6.0 on Server 2003 sp2. I wish to modify the custom error page for my asp website. When I access the custom error tab for a website on my development server, the listing of files I should be able to edit for custom errors contains only a single file (400 Error). The website is serving asp pages. The text at the top of the custom errors tab reads 'Error Message for HTTP Errors'. What happened to the extensive list of page that I usually find here (500, etc). Or am I looking in the wrong place. TIA Stephen Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397109

        • Can an ASP.NET application punch a hole through IIS? Hi newsgroup. I ask, can a buggy ASP.net app grant root access to the server? Or are there built-in mechanisms that prevent this? Let's say, I have a bug in my application, that under certain situations provokes a never ending loop, the application crashes, and the asp.net process will get recycled.. could this provoke an attack? Short question: Is ASP.net shielded enough from IIS, so that any failures in .net applications, don't affect the security of IIS? Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397104

        • virtual directories Hi All, I have a default website that got a virtual directory created in it when I installed Crystal Reports. I want to extend that virtual directory to another website I have on that same server. The folder icon for the virtual directory on the default website is a little world, but the icon in my other website is a gear... Does this mean anything, and how can I get my other site to get the "world" icon? Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397095

        • IIS Manager on migrated Vista Business just spins wheels Hi All, I have a notebook, migrated from Windows XP to Vista Business Premium. When I use a browser to go 127.0.0.1, I get the IIS7 webpage. Now, I go to IIS Manager, click on Websites to do something like Handler Mapping but the Windows hourglass just spins. So something is not quite right with IIS. How can I resolve this? Thanks for any help. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397091

        • reply Hey David, you rock. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my post. There was a fractional misunderstanding though, my choice is not to rewrite the app, although that will happen down the track, I want to fix it and that is why I posted this. And I hate it that we have to restart IIS every day, it looks unprofessional on a whole bunch of levels. The company that looks after the server keeps saying it is an application issue and we need to rewrite it (they are angling for the job) from scratch in .net and have no desire to try and fix it in any shape or form because of this. However I (the app developer) have never been comfortable with this bug as the system has been running really well for 8 years , stable and solid, hadn't changed much and the bug appeared from nowhere. I suspected it was infrastructure of some kind. I think you are right that it is the introducton of IIS6 that is causing the problem. I had no idea that things might run differently and nothing was ever tested against IIS6, it was just migrated across with nothing said. I am not sure what mode the server is running in whether it is iis5 compat or the other one. I will follow your advice and get these debug tools run and see what comes up, and post the logs here. thanks again, steve EggHeadCafe.com - .NET Developer Portal of Choice http://www.eggheadcafe.com Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397078

        • IIS Manager - Appears Blank (IIS 6.0 - Windows Server 2003) Once in a while when I open IIS Manager (MMC) - it takes a while to open and then it opens and it is blank. There is no information in there. If I try to connect, it says the "The path specified cannot be used at this time". If I reboot the server then it comes up fine with all the information in it (sites, etc). Can somebody shed some light on why this is happening on how can I get this fixed? I don't want to ignore this issue and just make it work by restarting the server. Appreciate any help! Thanks WD Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397065

        • Need Help WIth W2k3 Server and IIS I have set up WEB server (Windows 2003 SP2 with IIS) to host a site. While looking through the security events audit. I noticed a large number of FAILURE AUDITS with the MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1 and KRBTGT\ service. These audits have various logon user names like PETER, APPLE, ROOT, LISA, MASTER, DOG and other random names. It has the sourceworkstation = the computer name of my server, and it has an error code of 0xC0000064. I am concerned. This happens for about a minute and stops during certain days. What is this? Is it an inside or outside hijack. What can this do? Can it control the computer. Thanks BUC Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397063

        • IIS Threads Blocked Under heavy load, our webserver (IIS6) can get into a state whereby it cannot communicate with the filer to retrieve content. The redirector stops transmitting packets to the remote filer even though the remote filer's server service is still active and accepting requests from other servers. The IIS threads appear to hang, and many of them (with a thread state of 5... "waiting") go from a "thread wait reason" of 15 to a "thread wait reason" of 27. Then, after some period of time, such as a minute or two, the system recovers for a while. The documentation I see for "thread wait reason" suggests that any value of 20+ is reserved. Is this just a situation where perfmon is not able to detect the accurate state of the IIS threads, or is a value of 27 for "thread wait reason" meaningful in the context of IIS? Thanks, Brian Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397062

        • w3svc failed to start with error 127 - specified procedure not fou I am having problem with World wide web service. It is not starting even though IISAdmin and RPC services are started. It gives me error 127 - the specified procedure could not be found. The problem started as follows. I have windows xp professional edition with SP2 installed. I had IIS 5.1 installed with .Net framework 2.0 and Sql server 2005 Express edition. Everything worked fine with this. I then had to upgrad to Sql server 2005 Developer edition. I therefore uninstalled Sql server Express and installed Sql server 2005. When installing Sql server 2005 developer edition I got an error that reporting service could not be started because default web site is not running. I then invested the problem and found that www service did not start. I tried to start the service but got this error. I then tried to uninstall and reinstall IIS 5.1 but having the same problem. I would appreciate your help with this. Thanks, Manisha Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397061

        • Intermittent error with XmlDocument on ASP.NET app. Related to IIS and DefaultAppPool Hi, I have a very bizarre intermittent problem that occurs with some ASP.NET 1.1 (C#) code I inherited. I'll try to state the problem sucintly; if more detail is needed please ask! The code is in a WebApplication. The web application is configured in IIS 6.0 to run under Application Pools/Default App Pool. The relevant code looks like this: private bool ParseXML(string XmlResponseData, ref string StatusMessage) { XmlNodeList List; XmlNode AppServerNode; XmlNode SubNode; try { XmlDocument Document = new XmlDocument(); Document.LoadXml(XmlResponseData); // lots of other code related to taking stuff out of Document and putting into member variables omitted } catch { SetError("Failed to load XML response from server "); return(false); } return(true); } Most of the time everything works fine. Once in a great while, the code goes into the catch block. I can tell it goes into the catch block because "SetError" is a function that ultimately logs the error message. There is code right before this function that shows XmlResponseData and logs it. As far as I can tell (and many others who have stared at it) there is absolutely no difference between the XML that works fine and the XML that causes the catch block to execute. In fact, the evidence is stronger than that: we have the ability to send the same message. Many of us are suspecting that the lines "new XmlDocument()" or "Document.LoadXml(XmlResponseData)" are failing (perhaps a memory problem?). Unfortunately, we can't (currently) modify the code that is running to add more logging at key places. There is some more relevant information: Once the problem occurs, it does not go away UNTIL someone does a "Recycle" on the DefaultAppPool in IIS. I don't know much about IIS and Application Pools, so I have no idea why this would fix the problem but it does (until the next time of course). Another possibly related bit of information is that the DefaultAppPool is set to auto recycle every 29 hours. Finally, we occasionally have messages in the log of the form: A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '4244' I realize that I probably need to give more details. The problem is not well defined. I welcome all comments/suggestions/flames on how to move forward or perform additional tests. Suggestions for more appropriate newsgroups would also be most welcome. As you can see, the problem seems to touch a few areas (ASP.NET, IIS, XML). Sincerely, Dave Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397060

        • Application Pools for New Sites When creating new sites in IIS 6, is the best practice to create a new application pool for each site? I'm running into a problem where a site running ASP.NET 2.0 is throwing errors in the Application events saying which brings down my ASP.NET service for all my sites on the same server. "It is not possible to run two different versions of ASP.NET in the same IIS process. Please use the IIS Administration Tool to reconfigure your server to run the application in a separate process." EventID 1062. The suggested remedy for this is to create a new application pool for the site. I'm wondering if I need to create a new application pool for every site or just the one giving me a problem? Thanks Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397054

        • Installing a WebService into IIS7 on Vista Using .NET 2.0 and VS2005, I am trying to make a simple WebService application and an installer for it. I want to distribute the installer to several customers, so the installation should run as smooth as possible. When trying to install it on Vista, I get a generic errormessage: "Installation incomlete. The installer was interrupted before WebSetup1 could be installed" Is it possible to figure out in more details what went wrong in the installation? I have figured out that IIS6 compatibility components must be activated in IIS7 to make my webservice install properly. How can I (using VS2005) make my WebService application not be dependent on IIS6 when installed on IIS7? (I want it to be installable on XP with IIS6 also) I am using a standard Web Deployment Setup project in VS2005. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397041

        • IIS7 on Vista, which components do I need to install. I have made a simple WebService Application and a Windows Installer for it using VS 2005. When installing it on IIS7 on Vista, which IIS components to I need to turn on to make the installer work? With default components (and ASP.NET & .NET ) turned on, I get an installer error "Installation incomlete. The installer was interrupted before WebSetup1 could be installed". With all components turned on, I get successful installation. But I don't want to turn on more than I have to. I want to distribute this installer to many users, so the installation should run as smoothly as possible. Thanks for any advice Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397039

        • .asp pages unable to load Hi Rather a tentative question as I am not the webmaster in question. Our website is an asp dynamic website running its pages via access databases for raw data, security and logs. Said webmaster put our website on a new Windows 2003 server about a year ago with no problems whatsoever (he is not a Windows man at all). For the last three weeks, though, asp pages have completely frozen and do not load (with no IE error message). They always seem OK after a restart but have continued to work for a smaller and smaller amount of time (now only about 3 hours). Webmaster has no idea what to do, and is increasingly frustrated having to restart the whole time (as it is a pay-per-click site this is imperative). Ftp and html pages work, and as I mentioned, the asp pages have worked and do work in a fashion - so it may not be a scripts issue in IIS. have put up a test.asp page that sporadically works (eg three times out of five over the last ten minutes) Really have no ideas, just really wondering if these symptoms ring any bells Many thanks for any help in advance Johnny Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397038

        • Connection_Dropped IIS6 Hi, We are running an ASP application in IIS6. This site used to run perfectly but over the last year we have been having increasing problems especially since we upgraded from II5 to IIS6 I think. Symptoms: ..Connection_Dropped DefaultAppPool a lot for lots of pages ..System gets slower and slower ..Soft Artisans File up COM object crashes and reports that is can't be created in the ASP page All of the above issues are fixed instantly once IIS is restarted and then it slowly gets worse until we have to do it again. The COM issue once it starts continues EVERY time until IIS is restarted. I have looked around and it seems to be said that IIS6 shouldn't need to be restarted and should recycle the application pool or something. This app will eventually get rewritten in .NET but that is more a long term solution not an immediate one and we need to fix this now. Would having a batch job restarting IIS every night help or be possible? I have attached more info below which states the the asp.dll is unhealthy. Any ideas would be greatfully received. Cheers, Steve steve@dangerfield.biz ISAPI 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\asp.dll' reported itself as unhealthy for the following reason: 'ASP unhealthy because 100% of executing requests are hung and 1% of the request queue is full.'. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' exceeded time limits during shut down. • Connection_Dropped DefaultAppPool in IIS 6 Hi, We are running an ASP application in IIS6. • IIS6 logs: stats=200, sc-bytes=0 -- any ideas? I've been looking through IIS logs all day and discovered many entries which look otherwise normal except for the "sc-bytes" field being zero. What conditions would cause this to happen? It's not just one client or one URL - it seems pretty random, and refers to normal documents that usually have non-zero "sc-bytes" fields. Thanks for any pointers! Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397020

        • SSL on non-standard port question I have one (1) public IP address running through a NAT router, and three (3) private network sites set up on my server: --> default - LAN IP: all unassigned - SSL: 443 --> companyweb - LAN IP: 192.168.1.1 - SSL: 444 --> newsite - LAN IP: 192.168.1.2 - SSL: 4433 My question is... will a certificate work with 'newsite' using this set-up? And if so, what special process, if anything, will need to be done when requesting my certificate for port 4433? Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397019

        • IIS not returning icons, aspx site Hi, I have a small issue with an application that uses iis. The platform is Server 2003 Small Business, iis6 obviously with .net2 installed. I have created a new website and have created a new application pool so I can run .net 2 and 1. The site uses aspx and I have allowed .net 2 to run. The site works, I can browse and it returns pages but for some reason no icons are present, I just get the red cross where they should be. I asked the vendor what he thought; he had no idea but said that the icons are in the dll files. Right. So I have made a lot of effort searching this and can not even find anything close. My Exchange OWA and SharePoint works spot on, it returns pages and images. Any ideas would be great please. Many Thanks Johan Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 397011

        • Can't Run multiple web sites on IIS 6??? Hello, Sorry, completely frustrated with IIS. I'm not sure why, but I'm finding it impossible to run multiple web site on my server. The sites are for my own internal Intranet use, not exposed to the world. I have read all the help files on using Ports, IP, or host names. I did not want to use different ports, to hard for employees to remember port numbers. Do not want to use different IP'S for same reason. That leaves me with HOST HEADERS and totally confussed. I need to mess with DNS to use these I quess and this is where it falls apart. I do not have my DNS set to my REAL web domain name, I simply used COMPANY.local in my DNS. How do I run multiple sites with this? COMPANY.local is not a FULLY QUALIFIED DOMAIN NAME registered with a domain registrar! If I use COMPANY.local how do I format the Host headers and what url will my users need to enter to get to the different sites? WHat about multiple virtual sites withing a single site? What URL will they need? Do I need to change the ports still so I don't get the "can't use the same port for multiple sites" message? Thanks much, Mark Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396998

        • Unable to send Content-Type="text/html" on header Hello, I'm trying to make a mobile web with an IBM Websphere Application Server 5.0 and an IIS 5.0 as the web server. But when I access to the site with a mobile device the server don't return any content-type header for html. For css and jpg the content-type is right but for the html generated from the jsp page wich I tried to access there's no content-type returned. I have put on the jsp the page directive, the response.setContentType and a meta-data. I try to put the header on custom headers configuration, but now, this allways send back content-type="text/html" so the images will not be displayed by de mobile device. Thanks. I apologized speaking a bad English but in the spanish section I don't have any anwer. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396995

        • Intriguing Problem Mapping HTML to ASP We are currently mapping both the .html and .html extension through asp.dll this appears to work fine when the server is accessed through a proxy server. When accessed from the console or from an outside ISP the .html or .htm files do not process the asp instructions or the server side include files, they return them to the client. This does not occur with files with a .asp extension. The server is Windows Server 2000 SP 4 running IIS 5.0 (Our web host assures me that it patched up to date) Can anybody think of a reason why it would work with a proxy byt fail without? and better yet... can anybody think of a way to fix it? Thanks Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396994

I've added in 'web service extensions' a extension with gzip.dll - status: allowed 2. in 'web sites' properties in IIS's management console in Service tab, I've enabled 'compress application files', 'compress static files', temporary dir size is unlimited, temporary directory exists and everybody had access. 3. I've added file extensions to be compressed: cscript.exe adsutil.vbs set W3Svc/Filters/Compression/GZIP/ HcScriptFileExtensions "asp" "dll" "exe" "aspx" "asmx" "ashx" cscript.exe adsutil.vbs set W3Svc/Filters/Compression/DEFLATE/ HcScriptFileExtensions "asp" "dll" "exe" "aspx" "asmx" IISreset.exe /restart 4. in my client app I'm creating web service (i'm using .net framework 2.0) protected WSMy wsMy; wsMy = new WSMy(); wsMy.EnableDecompression = true; // here i'm retrieving data asynchronious but data that's downloaded is still not compressed (i'm checking data size with firewall) data length is still the same (it's an XML data with size over 10MB, so it should compress very good) directory: C:\WINDOWS\IIS Temporary Compressed Files is empty all the time. What should I do to enable compression ? -- pozdrawiam, razor Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396993

        • accessing page from different subnets hi there, i'm trying to get staff to access our intranet page but am running into issues. firstly some details about our sites: core site is subnet 192.168.16.x, and other subnets are 192.168.17.x and 192.168.21.x. We have IIS running on a server with ISA2004 at the core site with ip 192.168.16.10. When on subnet other then 16.x, then cannot access sites using FQDN but only IP. But when have 16.x IP can use FQDN to open sites. Does this sound like an IIS config or ISA2004? I didn't think it was an ISA config as you can still access pages just not with FQDN. Any suggestions would be really helpful as i'm not too familar using IIS. Thanks. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396988

        • Why are website images creating multiple connections? I am hosting a website on my intranet using IIS 5.1 and Windows XP Pro. It is an OpenWiki(ASP, XSL) site with images from my hard drive. When someone opens a page with images, several connections to my server are made. I have 40 connections available but I really would like to know why each image creates its own connection. The connections timeout after one minute. I turned off http keep- alives but that shut down the webserver. I think this is because I use windows authentication. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396984

        • w2k3, IIS 6.0, virtual website and prompting for authentication Hello, I'm installing Trend Micro's OfficeScan console on a windows 2003 server with IIS 6.0. the IUSR_servername account is being used on a virtual website. When I try to access the website it prompts me for authentication for the domain. How can I set this up, so no authentication will be prompted? I've tried using the domain admin account inplace of the IUSR_servername account and I can connect without being prompted. I don't want to use this high of an authority account. I've tried to make a domain account that is part of the domain users and domain guests...but then I'm prompted again for authentication. Idealy, I would like to user the local IUSR_servername account what are the steps that I need to do to configure it properly? -- Donna S. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396981

        • How to set "Default Web Site" to start automatically I have a problem with my server that it will not start services manually, however services will start (at startup) if they are set to automatic. Until I figure out the problem, which could take some time, I want to get the "Default Web Site" up. What happened was that on my search for the problem I "stopped" the "Default Web Site". Now it wont start up again. IIS does start, i.e. all sites start except the "Default Web Site" which I manually stopped. How can I set that the "Default Web Site" starts automatically at startup. Where is the setting (registry, file)? Please help. Tag: Creating host headers in IIS6 Tag: 396977
