Hi,

from about one month IE users don't succeed to download pdf files from
my webserver running IIS 5 on Win2K.

Mozilla and Opera users are ok, only IE (all versions from 5.0 to 6.0)
cause this problem. Acrobat Reader is 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, indifferently.

Someone can help me?
Thanks!

We'd need more details and a better description. Most important is
what you changed about a month ago. The IIS Lockdown Tool and URLScan
could do this. Also anti-virus or other security software might be
doing it. Check the web site's logs and see what was requested and
what the response was.

Hello,

What does "don't succeed" mean?
Do they get an error message?

If it works for some clients, it seems to be related to the client.
Because all IIS do is serve the pdf-file.

Thanks, but

I didn't change anything in this server from september!
I also disactivate Windows Update per manually update.

So?

Try yourself: www.agapeonlus.it/iniziative/pasquino.pdf

I think so but... all IE clients have this problem!
I suppose the problem is on the Adobe plugin (different in IE and non-IE
browsers), but client plugin can influence webserver? Perhaps http headers?

Hello,

I cannot get it to work in either IE nor Mozilla.

Do you stream the PDF, or create it "on-the-fly"?
