It might be helpful if you used much more descriptive language when
describing your problem. Specifically state what hangs up and state
where it hangs up on. And does it occurr in the same place on repeated
attempts. Also state your operating system and complete hardware specs
and post any other information that might be useful such as anti-virus,
software security systems, etc.

Can I assume that you are using a 32 bit OS? There are no issues, in
general.
As recoil has indicated:
To get assistance with the problem you are having on your PC, you'll need to
supply details on both your system and the exact circumstances of the
failure. Include an exact and complete quote of any warning and/or error
messages you receive. Examples of needed information:
OS version and patch level.
When did you last do a complete scan for virii, malware, etc?
Do you have all software such as virus and malware scanners, disabled when
you try to install?
Visual Studio 2003 edition and source (retail, MSDN download, etc).
Description of where you are in the install process when the "hang" occurs
(which CD is in the drive? any indication of multiple read attempts?)

HI everybody,

Thanks for that, Ok here are the details , I am not a very hardware guy to
explain you everything,

But its windows xp pro , it 32- bit OS
AMD 64 bit processror with a gigabyte motherboard and 1 GB of ram ....

I have installed avg antivirus and other software.

During installation my installation always get hanged in the second cd ...
It show me something which i guess are registry keys getting installed.
there is a long registry key figure and the value at end is ",name"
and below it , it says Web Browser package and then from there on the
installation does not move a head at all. Its also freeze my computer
completely and i have to restart myc omputer everytime that happens.

It right at the end of the isntallation of the second cd, I can tell you it
like the installation is just about to complete when this happen and its very
annoying for this happen like after 2 hours of installation all the time, I
thought it was the cd problem but its not, I have tried this like 6 times and
same thing happens everytime.

If you guys need more information let me know.

Cheers

Two suggestions:
After all the failed installs, you probably need to clean up the residue of
past attempts, so follow the instructions here for manual removal:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;824642

Go through all manual steps, even if you get no indication the steps are
working.
Have you been trying to install with your anti-virus software (and possibly
other products) running? Disable all anti-virus, anti-malware and like
programs before attempting the install.
