Hi,

VB .NET, C#, VJ#, and VC++ are the four languages that are developed by
Microsoft for developing for the .NET Platform. There is more than dozen
others, see in
http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/technologyinfo/overview/.
Apart from Windows, Mono is a open source development initiative for the
.NET framework to port .NET into Linux. See details on
http://www.mono-project.com/about/index.html.
