The 2.0 Framework? Whidbey? You know this is beta software right?

yea i realize this, but a few guys asked me to throw it onto our dev server so they could try it... mmc is unable to enter the 'properties' for any site without crashing

im sure theres a simple work around
and its not a reboot either.

The general rule on installing technical previews and other varieties of
pre-release software is never to install them on any system that you're not
prepared to reformat and build up from a fresh OS install. I'd suggest that
your dev server might not fit that category.

I hope you find a simple workaround, but I'm not betting on it.

Best of luck,

Look at section 8.1 of the Whidbey preview readme.htm file.
